Bottom up Adaptation Strategies for a Sustainable Europe

Marc Neumann

Marc Neumann, Ikerbasque Research Professor at BC3, currently focuses on water impacts of climate change, adaptation strategies and planning of water infrastructure under uncertainty. He holds a PhD from ETH Zurich and gained postdoctoral experience at Eawag (Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology), Switzerland and with the Canada Research Chair in Water Quality Modelling in Quebec City, Canada.

In BASE he is interested in investigating co-benefits of adaptation in the water-related case studies at the urban- and river basin scale. He will also be assisting the general framework development with his knowledge on uncertainty- and sensitivity analysis.
