Bottom up Adaptation Strategies for a Sustainable Europe

Ben Wheeler

Ben Wheeler is a Research Fellow at the European Centre for Environment and Human Health in the University of Exeter Medical School based in Truro, UK. Ben is interested in the linkages between environment, socio-economic status and public health, with particular regard to health inequalities and informing health and environmental policy. Ben is involved in the application of Geographic Information Systems and spatial analysis to study these issues and the use of large, national and international secondary datasets. He is also interested in methods that apply Global Positioning System (GPS) and other technologies in the study of environment and health and wellbeing. In BASE, Ben will be involved in the analysis of data for the case study on health impacts and adaptation in the UK.
