Alessio Capriolo has a degree in Economics, a Master in Environmental Economics and Management, and a PhD in Theory and quantitative methods for economic development. He has been working at ISPRA since 2000 and has over 12 years of experience in the field of environmental economics. He is the head of the “Economic valuation and environmental accounting” unit since 2006.
Alessio’s work for BASE includes the comparative overview of European national adaptation strategies, the analysis of policy integration and the development of strategies for enhancing policy coherence and effectiveness.
